Kmbox Net User Guide
What is Kmbox Net?
Kmbox Net is a programmable keyboard and mouse controller (using Net port) with the following features：
* 1.Secure. Its protocol is not public and cannot be characterized. Each box has an independent IP, port, and hardware encoding. It cannot be scanned with blocking socket communication.
* 2.Stable. It eliminates the possibility of restarting with a blank screen like serial port communication.
* 3.Fast. With a 100M network load, its communication speed is 100 times that of the original B board (compared to 115200 baud rate). The number of calls per second is close to 1,000 whereas board B can only afford 300 calls per second with the possibility of restarting on a blank screen if the calls are too frequent.
* 4.Automatically set to default (artificial trajectories). Eliminate abnormal keyboard and mouse data. For further info, please refer to function "kmNet_mouse_move_auto".
* 5.Strong adaptability. No need to pair your mouse.
* 6.Users are able to modify USB parameters on device, customizing their own firmwares by unique features.
* 7.User-friendly UI design. Intuitive, easy to navigate and efficient in meeting user needs.
* 8.All functions of B board are available except onboard scripts.
* 9.It supports the monitoring of physical keyboard & mouse and blocking of their functions, which facilitates software writing.
* 10.Supports learning and copying functions of physical keyboard and mouse.(TBD)
Beginner's Guide
Here, we'll have a detailed guide on how to use Kmbox Net.
01 What's in the package?
The following accessories can be found:
- Kmbox Net
- Two blue cables
02 How to connect the cables
Port names are shown on the back of the box. Please follow instructions as below:
- Note: if you are gaming on a single PC, cables plugged to "Net port" and "controlled PC" should both be connected to the gaming PC.
03 Install Network adapter Driver
After plugging the cable to the Net port, a disk will appear as shown in the picture below.
Double-click the disk and run the exe file inside.
If no disk to be found, download the driver mannually. Click me to download
04 Change your Network adapter IP address
Open Control Panel--> Network and Sharing Center

Change IP Address
Check if ping is successful
Run cmd
Check if the IP on the box could be successfully pinged
If the above is shown, the box is ready. Now you can refer to your assisting software for further instructions.

FAQ
How to upgrade
There will be newly upgraded firmwares each month for Net version. You are recommended to download the latest firmware.
01_Download Upgrade Driver

Download, unzip, install 01-driver (01-驱动), then exit.

Please follow the instructions closely:
1、Unplug all the USB cables to disconnect the box.
2、Press down the only button inside the box and hold.
3、Plug in the USB cable to the port (Gaming PC) while holding the previous button. You will then see the indicator light blink fast. Now let go of the button.
4、Open the upgrade tool WCHMcuIAP_WinAPP.exe (Double click)
Choose the one you would like to upgrade then click download.
5、If download is successful, the box will reboot automatically. Display is normal at this point.
If failed, retry the above instructions.

How to customize your curve
01-What's the curve correction function?
This function allows a smoother mouse trajectory,free of unwanted glitches,teleportation and pauses. By default, the curve function is turned off.

If failed, please refer to Beginner's Guide to make sure your net is ok before connecting again.
